About Janice Howard

Jan Howard will be the person providing research services for Connecticut and New England for Family Ancestry, with primary focus on Connecticut.

I am a graduate of Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, Connecticut and am employed as a freelance journalist.
I have been researching family histories since 1984 and three years ago began conducting research for clients. I am a long-time history buff and have found much information about my own family and other families through my research.

I am currently a member of the Connecticut Society of Genealogists, the New England Historical and Genealogical Society, Ancestry, and the Godfrey Library “Scholars,” a well-known genealogical library in Middletown, Connecticut. I also conduct extensive research in several local libraries in Connecticut and on-line.
